Microscope Stand Dating Table
This section is dependant upon you sending in details of your own stands. The entries in blue represent those stands detailed in Dr. Brian Bracegirdles book 'Notes on Modern Microscope Manufacturers'. Those figures in red represent anomalies.
The only delivery book known details sales between 1879 and 1894 inclusive. The date against a serial number is not always in strict chronological sequence therefore some care must be taken in deducing dates from this table for models prior to Serial No. 10000. The examples given, in italics, are again, those listed in 'Notes on Modern Microscope Manufacturers'.
Entries in green represent numbers whose model is known from entries in the delivery book.
Characters in square brackets [] are the initials of the contributor.
The table is interspersed with dateline details in bold.
