The Club promotes microscopes and microscopy in a practical way. Members can elect to become OFF CIRCUIT MEMBERS and receive the Newsletter "Amateur Microscopist" three times a year.
ON CIRCUIT MEMBERS receive the Newsletter and are also placed on a circuit to receive sets of prepared microscope slides to examine in their own time. Members who live in or near Sydney participate in Sunday excursions to collect and examine specimens and meet with people with similar interests. Members in other states are encouraged to promote their own excursions.
