  These are the freshwater windows of the art work in the Natuurmuseum in Rotterdam. Most obvious is the long filamentous algae Spirogyra. You can also see a hydra trying to catch a waterflea. Several species of desmids, diatoms and rotifers show the variey of forms in these groups.
