Images of landshells - II

by Helmut Nisters, Innsbruck, Austria

In this final gallery some more or less inconspicuous species of some further landshell families are presented, and these complement the species illustrated in previous articles. It is hoped they show the marvellous variety of landshells that can be found. Their preferred habitats and collecting methods were described in these previous articles.

Note how tiny some of these shells are i.e. less than 3 mm, but they are still very attractive and a challenge to find!
