This hair louse has been filmed walking through
human hair. It is going down to the scalp to feed. Notice how it crosses easily from one hair shaft to another.
The film has been slowed down a little to make it easier to observe the louse movements. Female lice lay eggs which
are super-glued to the hair shaft. The eggs cannot be removed!! Many people believe they are combing ou th eggs
but what they are really doing is combing out the moulted bodies of matured lice. The lice shed their skins several
times as they develop towards adulthood.
