The darkness of non-being was receding as moment by moment I grew towards - what I instinctively knew would be - a full awakening into the light. Sometimes, as I waited, I felt a little fear at what was ultimately to be my task, but these moments were calmed by a strange and overwhelming sense of love which reached out and touched me.
